母亲节 大把 歌 可以拿来唱，
但是 每次 要选 父亲节 的歌 就 烦恼了！

今年的父亲节 又快到了！
我 又来 烦 了...

后来，一位 在线 朋友 提议 唱
“You Raise Me Up” 这首英文歌！

我当然知道这首歌很好听...
歌词 也 蛮感人 而且 很适合 父亲节 唱。

但是，青少诗班的圣乐问我：在教堂可以唱吗？
我的反应是，我看过个词了，觉得还蛮 圣经 的...
为什么不能唱！

这首歌多次被提名 Gospel Music Award!
（在国外 还 算是 “福音”诗歌咧！）

基督教乐团 Selah 唱过:
还 因此歌 在 Billboard’s Christian Charts 得过 No.1

而且，我本人认为 歌词 比许多 正式 的 教会 诗歌
更有程度... 所以觉得 诗班 拿来 献诗 应该 无妨。

第一次看到 歌词 写 “sit a while with me”
也 觉得 有点 无厘头
听过 Celtic Woman 的 版本 后 *
才 恍然大悟！

想必 原版 是 “say a prayer with me”
但是，为了 迎合 商业市场
才 硬硬 唱成 “sit a while with me” 的！
包括 基督教乐团 Selah 都是 唱 “sit a while with me”
这 另我 对 Celtic Woman 更加 敬爱了！

好了，说了一大堆，就是为了 justify 我可以让教会 唱这首歌！

PS：这首歌总好过 母亲节 唱 “天下的妈妈都是一样的”吧？

*后记：其实人家还是是唱 “sit a while” 是我听错了，听成 “say a prayer”
但是 错有错着嘛！ 嘻嘻...  就换成 “say a prayer” , 说是 我 的 版本咯！
